If you live in Toronto you know we’re dying for spring to arrive. While Spring has technically arrived, the weather keeps tricking us, a warm day and bam! More cold days or even wind storms. That said, weddings must go on no matter the weather. Here are a few of my favourite spring time blooms.
- Tulips – such an abundance and available every where. They come in a variety of colours and are so versatile. Great on their own for centerpieces or as accent flowers providing height and flexibility.
- Blooming Branches – yes, you read that correctly. Think cherry blossoms, but there are many other quince and dogwood are great options for springtime weddings.
- Lastly and arguably everyone’s favourite are Garden Blooms – peonies, ranunculus, hyacinth etc. These are without a doubt, beautiful every time and in every combination.
Honourable mention goes to to garlands, I love this look and I’m so glad my brides do too.
What kind of blooms are you using for your wedding?
